Summary

Spokane County Library District seeks an experienced professional to serve as Chief Human Resources Officer under the general direction of the Executive Director. As a member of the Library District's executive Leadership Team, the CHRO will develop, recommend, implement, and administer human resources programs, policies, and administrative procedures in a manner that supports the District's mission and strategic plan.

Ensure legal compliance of applicable federal and state employment and labor rules, regulations, and requirements. Oversee and direct compensation and benefits plans, as well as other programs to promote success and retention of the workforce.

Assess training and professional development needs of District staff. Collaborate with Leadership Team members to plan and implement training programs and opportunities for staff.
