Sponsors of the Check Out WA Program

Check Out Washington and participating libraries hope that providing these passes will help increase awareness and access to state lands, especially for those who might not otherwise be able to obtain a Discover Pass.

Washington State Parks offers this program in partnership with the Washington State Parks Foundation, Washington State Library, WDFW, and DNR.

In 2022, the Washington State Parks Foundation has a new partner—WSECU—for the Check Out Washington program! WSECU has provided key grant funding and is actively involved in the Check Out Washington program.

This program expansion was made possible by the generous support of WSECU and the Washington State Park Foundation. They identified libraries to receive additional passes in 2022. These libraries sit in proximity to communities that experience the greatest environmental health disparities in Washington.
