The Library District is now offering access to NewsBank and its Access World News Research Collection, which was created with input from college faculty and students, library customers, and librarians. This collection provides access to over 11,000 news sources from around the world, including 137 sources from Washington state alone, plus content from all 50 U.S. states, and over 170 countries and regions. The vast majority of sources are in English but at least 10 other languages are represented.
NewsBank also includes The Seattle Times Collection with full-color newspaper pages, individual full-text articles, and content only published online. If you want to browse by topic, NewsBank offers suggested topics and special reports.
If you enjoy news magazines, you’ll find The Atlantic, Field & Stream, The New Yorker, Smithsonian, Wired, and more with the America’s News Magazines quick link. Plus, look for a specific news publication you regularly read or would like to read by searching for it in the A–Z Source List.
