Kids and teens ages 2–14 can read, play, and watch to earn points toward a variety of awesome prizes provided by KSPS PBS!
Track your reading and activities on Beanstack (website and app) to earn points for prizes. You can pick up a prize from any local library for every 100 points earned (up to 500 points in total).
The Game Quest Challenge starts Saturday, February 15, and runs through Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Game Quest is hosted in partnership with KSPS PBS and Spokane Public Library.
Once you sign up with Beanstack, you can log your reading each day to get 8 points and complete and track other activities for 5 points each.
Along with reading, repeatable activities that you can complete daily include watching a PBS KIDS show, listening to a PBS KIDS podcast, and playing a PBS KIDS game. Other activities include crafts, recipes, science, money adventures, library exploration, and participating in Future Day.
We love reading and prizes! How about you?
For Game Quest, you get to choose among the prize options for each 100 points you earn!
Prizes include gondola rides, skate rentals, entry to Mobius Discovery Center, a youth climbing pass at Coeur Climb, a book, a coupon for a free bundt cake, one youth pass to 49 Degrees North Ski Resort, and more.
While this challenge runs through May 15, the youth ski pass prize is only valid through March. So, make sure to select the ski pass prize early in the challenge, once you reach 100 points, if you’re interested in that prize.
Note: Each participant can only receive one of each prize and a total of five prizes for this challenge. Choose wisely!
