During Expo ’74: 50 Years of Environmental Awareness, community conversations are led by the League of Women Voters Spokane Area and provide the space to talk about how individuals, neighborhoods, and municipalities can take action to prepare for the impacts of the climate crisis. Gardening workshops in June are flourishing with six different topics and a plant clinic:
Creative programs for adults include 3D Printing: Travel Sundial, Create a Watercolor Landmark Accordion Book, Spinning Yarn, and Introduction to Bollywood (all ages). Educational and informative workshops include Medicare topics, Dementia Friends sessions, Tuesday Memory Cafés, A Matter of Balance: Preventing Falls, and Homebuyer Education Seminars.
