Families & All Ages

Show your family’s personality and capture some silly memories during Awkward Family Photos: Holiday Cringe Edition (all ages) in The STCU Studio at Spokane Valley Library.

Trade in your puzzles and games for some that are new to you at our Jigsaw Puzzle & Board Game Swaps (all ages). Games and puzzles for any age are accepted, so long as they have all their pieces.

Early Learners & Their Adults

Enjoy our weekly Play & Learn Storytimes at nine of our libraries, all offering storytime for families and some offering other ages for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Together, we read entertaining picture books, sing songs, learn fingerplays, and enjoy activities that explore the skills kids need to get ready for school.

Check out Picture Book Chat (adults) to discover new books and book-inspired activities that children will enjoy! Librarians explore what they like about these wonderful books for toddlers, preschoolers, and emergent readers.
