Looking for something fun to do to celebrate Independence Day? Make this “handy” wreath to decorate your house or give it as a gift.
Handprint Wreath
Materials:
- Construction paper (either all white, so you can color them in, or red, white and blue paper)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil to trace
-
Trace your hand 9 times on the different colors of paper. If you use the white paper, color in 3 red hands, 3 blue hands, and leave the last 3 white. If you use the colored paper, trace 3 red hands, 3 blue hands and 3 white hands.
-
With Mom or Dad’s permission, carefully cut out your hands.
-
Form the hands into a circle like this:
-
Put a dot of glue on each of the hands and glue them together.
-
You are finished! You now have a 4th of July wreath that can be used to decorate your room or house!
